NAGA CITY — City Mayor Jesse M. Robredo has called on all qualified applicants aged 18 to 35 years who are interested to join the sales force of the soon-to-be-opened SM City Naga to come for the jobs fair on January 23-24 and January 30-31, this year, at the Naga City Gymnasium.
While it was first announced that it would be held at Plaza Quezon, the new venue was announced because of the recurring inclement weather that would require a covered venue for the jobs fair which is expected to be crowded with a large number of job applicants.
Robredo said SM City Naga needs to initially fill up its department store section alone with 600 personnel.
He advised prospective applicants to bring the following to the jobs fair:
– comprehensive resume, academic credentials, transcript of records and diploma;
– 2 copies of 2×2 colored picture with white background, and;
– SSS Number with SSS Employment history printout.
Representatives from SM will conduct examination and interview of applicants who are advised to come in appropriate business attire.
Vacancies are for branch operations managers, selling manager/supervisors, counter & checking manager/supervisor, customer service manager/supervisor, warehouse manager/supervisor, building administration manager/officer, customer relations service manager/supervisor/representative, customer service assistant, sales assistant, cashier/checker/ sales clerk, sales utility clerks, human resource manager, treasury manager/supervisor, accounting manager, visual display officer, fashion specialist, branch trainer, nurse, IT associate, treasury assistant, accounting assistant, and office assistant.

SM Naga, the first branch in Bicol of the country’s largest chain of shopping malls, will formally open for business between the months of April and May, this year, although no exact date has yet been officially announced.
