SM City Naga to start construction in January 2008

NAGA CITY, Sept. 27 (PNA) — The much-awaited construction of the first SM Mall in the Bicol region in a 4.6-hectare lot inside the new central business district here is set to finally start in January 2008.
Glen Ang, assistant vice president of SM Prime Holdings bared this during the regular session of the Sanggunian Panglunsod last Monday.
Ang said changes in the mall’s design, from a hyper mart to a full mall caused the delay in the construction of the two-storey SM City Naga, which was supposed to start last August.
The SM official said the mall will have a total floor area of 61,300 square meters, which will consist of two separate two-storey structures, the mall and carpark buildings.
