SM Naga to open 4000 jobs

NAGA CITY – The much awaited groundbreaking rites for the SM City Naga will take place at 10:00 a.m. of Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the 5-hectare site of the proposed shopping mall at the Central Business District II here with Naga City Mayor Jesse M. Robredo and key city officials joining the top brass of SM Prime Holdings headed by Hans Sy during the ceremonies.

Actual construction of the mall, the first SM Mall in Bicol and the 11th in Luzon outside Metro Manila, will immediately start two or three months after the groundbreaking rites, according to sources at city hall.

It is expected to be completed early next year, before the Peñafrancia fiesta, the same sources said.

NAGA CITY, April 25 Asia Pulse – Philippine retail giant Shoe Mart (SM) Department Store has set April 28 as the date for groundbreaking ceremonies of the multi-million peso shopping mall, SM’s first in the Bicol region, which will rise at the Naga City new central business district.

SM President Anne Garcia announced this during a courtesy call on Mayor Jesse Robredo recently.

The SM mall in Naga will be constructed on a five-hectare lot adjacent to the city’s integrated bus terminal, the St. Joseph School and the soon-to-be completed Metro Naga Coliseum.

NAGA CITY -– The much-awaited first multi-million SM Shopping Mall in Bicol will soon rise with the formal groundbreaking rites scheduled on Saturday next week (April 28) at the new central business district here.her entourage of top officers last Wednesday (April 18) paid a courtesy call on City Mayor Jesse M. Robredo at the latter’s office at city hall here to announce the date of the groundbreaking ceremonies.

With Garcia were Vice President Cecilia R. Patricio of the Corporate Tax Division of SM, and SM Executive Vice President Jeffrey C. Lim.
